Hey, I'm Summer!
I’m a ceramic artist specializing in detailed underglaze paintings! You will quickly notice by looking at my work that my biggest inspirations are anime, manga and videogames.
I’ve been working with clay for over 7 years now and I've been painting for more than a decade. I have a strong passion for teaching, because I adore talking about my processes and sharing what I do. I have built a strong online presence over the years and I've become fairly well-known as someone who's willing to share any process, technique or material, never gatekeeping and always happy to answer questions.
This course is the result of me compiling my entire process from start to finish and turning it into one comprehensive class. With in-person workshops, I was always limited with what I could teach due to time constraints, but with the online format, we can cover the entire process!

Form, underglaze colors and glaze will become your guides as you learn to observe and translate your 2D designs onto 3D forms. You’ll understand how to make the design suit the form, and highlight your ceramics.

The course has 7 modules for 10+ hours of learning and practicing. It includes 60+ video tutorials! You can pause and replay the videos as much as you want. The course is suitable for both teens and adults because there is no explicit content. It would be best to take the course in order, because it follows the basic flow of ceramics and the various stages that pottery goes through.
